The reason this font was created is because it is to be used in some form for the OpenMW project, an open-source project aiming to recreate the engine for the Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. The existing Daedric fonts were not usable due to license incompatibilities and legal concerns. https://freelock.mystrikingly.com/blog/animal-crossing-base. Adobe video editor name.

  1. If you are a Morrowind user, or an OpenMW user who wants to be extra careful, open up your Morrowind.ini, which is found in the Morrowind folder. (If you do not see Morrowind.ini, run MorrowindLauncher.exe and open up the options menu. This should force the game to generate a new ini.) Backup your ini before you make any changes to it.
  2. In one of my earlier posts, I expressed a desire for a bigger font in Morrowind, because I run it at 1280x960, and it was straining my eyes. In searches, advise was mixed, but this is a built-in solution that worked for me. In the Morrowind.ini file, under the header Fonts, just change the first line to: Font 0=centurygothicbig.
This happens when I try to start OpenMW on my Manjaro Linux machine. I tried 0.28 repo and 0.29 from Arch's repo. There is no difference. I start launcher with omwlauncher command, select Morrowind.esm and tweak graphical options, press 'play' aaaand:

Morrowind Larger Font

EDIT: I solved it by myself. I found out that the reason launcher tried to find Flroa Glow.bsa and failed was Morrowind.ini file, which was tweaked automatically when I installed MGSO on Windows weaks ago. Steam synced this file with the cloud and this is how it got on my Manjaro. Deleting it and launching Morrowing through wine gave me stock .ini and after deleting ~/.config/openmw launcher asked me again to find it and it all ended well.
